Stage 1 is the 1st and the starting Stage of Sky Force Reloaded after the Prologue. Its Boss is Twisted Vengeance.

Key Notes[]

  • This Stage is notably the shortest stage in the game, probably the easiest also and even on higher difficulty levels rushing through a perfect run attempt is still manageable.
  • Although there is one Dispenser at the end prior to the Boss fight, it does not provide any Power-ups. Instead, it is the mysterious dispenser for a green box which can occasionally appear at this level of which the player will be informed by a box icon on the level button on level choosing screen.
  • There is a destructible wrecked castle towers that gives you a bunch of stars for destroying it, whose destruction is not required to achieve 100% enemy destruction.
  • When the AA Turret on top of the ruined house is destroyed, it can sometimes set the palm tree beside it on fire.
  • It also has a Dune Buggy that drives in a curving pattern along the road where the tanks are. Though harmless, its destruction is necessary to sustain active Chain Bonuses.

Notable Quotes[]

Stage 1 contains dialogue quotes on each Difficulty level said by the Operator and Scarlett Mantis. They are read as follows:

Normal Difficulty[]

"Looks like you've lost your plane... again.

Upgrade the new one and find out who's our enemies." - Operator; at the start of the Stage.

"My name is Scarlet Mantis.

You should know why I'm here." - Scarlett Mantis; start of Boss fight.

"This is not the end of it." - Scarlett Mantis; end of Boss fight.

Hard Difficulty[]

"Don't push your luck!" - Scarlett Mantis; start of Boss fight.

"This means nothing." - Scarlett Mantis; end of Boss fight.

Insane Difficulty[]

"You just don't know when to stop, don’t you?" - Scarlett Mantis; start of Boss fight.

"I will have my revenge.

Sooner or later." - Scarlett Mantis; end of Boss fight.

Trivia[]

  • It can be inferred from Scarlett Mantis's first quote that her father died in Sky Force Anniversary which happened after the battle and crash of the Nasty Owl in which he dies (seen in the credits only) in the Stage 8 of the mentioned game, and she is getting revenge on players for it as the succeeding villain.
  • Stage 1 is the only option available after the player completes the Prologue. Other menus are only unlocked after the first playthrough of the Stage.
  • Similar to the Stage 1 of Sky Force Anniversary, the player can't have the upgraded aircraft from the Prologue in this stage and must start all over again until the plane is upgraded once more to defeat more enemy forces in stages with higher difficulties.
