The Ace of Spades is the 8th Plane, which has an emphasis on increased successful Card-hunting ratio and features a stronger Magnet. It is presumably the brother unit to the Limp Berserker. Its colors on the Wingman Cube are black and red.
Abilities[]
Like the Limp Berserker, Ace of Spades has this "Ridiculously Low Health" negative factor, meaning that it instantly explodes if hit by an enemy or their projectiles.
Ace of Spades is well known for being a Plane that not only encourages runs for the "Stay Untouched" Medal but also has a stronger Magnet that attracts more Stars and items and has an ability that increases the chances of finding Bonus Cards in a Stage. The Lucy Clover Technician and some Cards boost this ability even further, which seemingly works no matter what Difficulty you play at. Likewise, to prevent frustration and the requirement of multiple attempts to do a successful run for the Card, it is best to play the Stage on Normal or Hard (Insane and Nightmare are not encouraged).
After collecting all Bonus Cards, the Plane becomes obsolete due to the redundancy of its signature ability. It is therefore not recommended for use at this period unless the player wants to severely handicap themselves.
Notably, this Plane is available for play in Sky Force Anniversary, but its livery can only be unlocked as a permanent modification once the Night Camouflage Bonus Card (the last in the entire deck) is obtained. The Plane is only a skin, therefore no special perk is applied.
